The Social Justice Committee has renewed St. Jude’s partnership with East End Cooperative Ministry’s evening meal service. The plan for 2025 is to serve two meals per month at EECM. We will continue to serve a pasta dinner on the third Tuesday of each month and starting February 5th, we will also serve a chicken and vegetables dinner to the residents on the first Wednesday of every month.
While we have a nice core group of regular volunteers for our Tuesday dinners, we’d like to get some regular volunteers signed up for the Wednesday dinners. We certainly won’t turn any helpers away for any meal because even though we only need about six volunteers per meal to prepare and serve the dinner, sitting and visiting with the residents while they eat is always a wonderful way to help too.

Once you complete the form, a member of the Social Justice Committee will contact you to confirm your participation.If you can’t join us at the actual dinners, please consider making a donation to EECM Shelter Meals by completing the form below or by making a donation directly to St. Jude Parish (please make sure you note your donation is in support of EECM shelter meals.)
