Co-Responsibility: Our Shared Call in the Central Deanery
The Central Deanery initiative is fundamentally rooted in the Church's vision of "co-responsibility." This vital concept reminds us that the mission of Christ belongs not solely to our clergy, but to every single baptized person.
Through Baptism, each of us receives unique gifts and a divine call to participate actively in building God's Kingdom. For our Central Deanery, this means the vitality and effectiveness of our collaborative efforts depend on everyone's active engagement.
We are called to transcend individual parish boundaries, recognizing that our combined talents and commitment are essential for optimizing resources, strengthening ministries, and ensuring a vibrant future for all our city parishes. We are vital members of one Body, called to contribute our gifts to this shared, larger mission.

Living Co-Responsibility: Participating in Our Deanery's Mission
How do we practically live out our co-responsibility within the exciting new Central Deanery? It begins with understanding that our Baptism calls us to active participation, now with a broader, unified focus.
Living co-responsibility means intentionally engaging beyond our immediate parish, contributing to the deanery's collective strength.
This includes:
Prayer: Lifting up all deanery parishes, clergy, and the new initiatives.
Stewardship: Sharing your time, talent, and treasure to support both your parish and the wider deanery's collaborative goals.
Engagement: Participating in deanery-wide listening sessions, offering feedback, and supporting shared ministry opportunities.
Evangelization: Witnessing to Christ and inviting others, knowing your efforts contribute to a revitalized presence across the city.
By embracing this shared responsibility, we collectively strengthen our entire Central Deanery, ensuring it remains a vibrant center of faith and service.
